Artists Of The Month for August: Ava Hawkins and Taylor Young are this year’s scholarship winners.

Ava Hawkins is starting a 2-year course in digital production - game art design at the CAM institute in Saint John. Ava and her mother were active members of the club in 2019. Ava produces a steady stream of art in various media - beaurifully executed with sensitivity and meaning.

Taylor Young will be starting in the BFA program at Mount Alison University. Taylor writes: “I genuinely believe art can lift the spirits of anyone, no matter what their background and I hope to share my work and be a part of that positive outlook on life.”
